Kodak Rare Hawk-Eye 20" 500mm f4.5 Aerial Lens for 8x10 Serial #0149 -Cool- [EXC-]

This is an enormous aerial lens. It is meant for 8x10, but it is enormous, I think that it could likely cover a larger format. I believe that is pre-WWII or very early WWII before Kodak's Aero-Ektar lenses. It seems to be uncoated.

It is in good condition with moderate wear and a cool amount of brassing. There is a light mark on the edge of the front element and some minor bubbles in the glass, they will not impact image quality. Otherwise the glass is clean with no fungus or other issues. The aperture is a bit hard to turn when the lens is unmounted (it's huge!) but it is very useable, especially when mounted.

A front cap is included. This is a nice lens.
